about

Eight years after her last album "Dia Novo" and five years after the album "Viviane Canta Piaf", in which she paid tribute to one of her greatest references, Viviane returns with "Quando Tiveres Tempo" (release: 03. June 2022 on o-tone music/Edel Kultur). June 2022 on o-tone music/Edel Kultur) - a great album full of instrumental and orchestral surprises and yet interspersed with Viviane's unmistakable sound, the freedom of Anglo-Saxon pop, the melancholy of fado and the elegance of chanson.

In "Quando Tiveres Tempo", Viviane (vocals and flute) is accompanied in all songs by Tó Viegas (Portuguese guitar), João Vitorino (acoustic and electric guitar), Filipe Valentim (keyboards), Ivo Martins (drums and percussion) and Bruno Vítor (double bass and electric bass), alongside a lavish array of illustrious guest musicians, including José Manuel Neto, Bernardo Couto, Ricardo Martins, Tiago Rêgo, O Gajo, Nélson Conceição, Amadeu Magalhães and the children's choir of the Olhão Conservatory.

Recorded by Tó Viegas at ZIPMIX - Studio, mixed by João Martins and mastered by Rui Dias (Master Mister), the music production was the task of Tó Viegas and the multi-award winning Brazilian producer Alê Siqueira, who in the course of his career has worked with Elza Soares, Tom Zé, Arnaldo Antunes, Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso, Mayra Andrade or Cheikh Lô and was awarded Latin Grammys for the production of records by the Tribalistas, Omara Portuondo and Carlinhos Brown.

"Quando Tiveres Tempo" follows an extensive discography by Viviane, who has had a major impact on the last four decades of Portuguese music. First with the highly successful pop/rock band "Entre Aspas" in Portugal ("Entre S.F.F.", 1993, "Lollipop",1995, and "Edelweiss",1997, "Loja dos Sonhos", 1999 and www.entreaspasaovivo. com, 2000) - and then with the projects "Linha da Frente" ("Linha da Frente", 2002) , "Camaleão Azul" ("O Sul", 2003) and "Rua da Saudade" ("Canções de Ary dos Santos", 2009).

As a solo artist, Viviane has so far released the albums "Amores Imperfeitos" (2005), "Viviane" (2007), "As Pequenas Gavetas do Amor" (2010), "Dia Novo" (2014), "Confidências" (2015), "Viviane Canta Piaf" (2017) and now "Quando Tiveres Tempo".
